Mrozek joined Liverpool in 2020 and has since made 60 appearances for the club’s U18, U19, and U21 teams He was also named to the first-team bench on six occasions but did not make a senior appearance for the Merseyside club The move to Cincinnati marks Mrozek's third loan spell away from Liverpool, following previous stints with Swedish top-flight club IF Brommapojkarna and English side Forest Green Rovers

FC Cincinnati General Manager Chris Albright stated that Mrozek will strengthen the team's goalkeeping options. "Fabian is a talented young goalkeeper. He will add quality and depth to our goalkeeping group and we look forward to his development under Paul Rogers," Albright said "We'd like to welcome him to Cincinnati"
