Other locals described the situation on the roads leading out of the southern suburbs as chaotic, with heavy, bumper-to-bumper traffic as many residents attempted to leave the area Reports from the scene indicated that some people were fleeing on foot while children were crying The attacks targeted Dahiyeh, a densely populated area in the Lebanese capital.
